- You don't have to be an avid reader to appreciate this unique 1300 m2 museum. Set up on the Quai de la Charente in 2009, it boasts Europe's largest collection of comic strip originals, with 1,200 original plates and prints. Even the youngest visitors can immerse themselves in the world of comics, with workshops and a small museum specially designed for them. Every year, the Musée de la BD hosts the International Comics Festival in January.
